Isaac Chambers
In 2005 Isaac Chambers burst onto the New Zealand dance music scene with his ubiquitous limit-pushing, stereo-type smashing style. He has been producing creative, intelligent sound since 2002.
He was previously known as ‘Psyzaak and the freakin durkka durr’, and released the track “Freedom for Sale” with the record label “Native Harmonics” in 2007.
Isaac’s music is a diverse fusion of digital synthesis and live organic instrumentation, creating a tight package of aural stimulation that carries you away on a journey to infinity and beyond.
Deep, driving progressive trance and tech house grooves underlay a sprinkling of crispy glitch, a touch of psychedelia and a hearty dose of sexy electronic goodness and instrumental lushness.
Taking the best from each genre, Isaac’s diverse style refuses to be pigeonholed. This is infectious, uplifting electronic music without style boundaries.
Currently based in Christchurch New Zealand, Isaac is working on a variety of projects, including his alias ‘Million Buxx’ and collaborative projects Southern Shift and the Teabaggers. He has headlined many indoor and outdoor gigs including Luminate Festival, Canaan Downs Festival and MASSIVE Production’s Equinox and Solstice parties.
Isaac has collaborated with a variety of dance music heavyweights, including Antix, Zen Mechanics and Loopus and Fabula, with two tracks coming out late 2010 on Fabula Records. His critically acclaimed track ‘Skim’ was released by Estuary Records on the compilation ‘Garden Spores’ in 2009.
Isaac’s inimitable style, flawless production skills, infectious enthusiasm for life and his ability to get a dance floor moving guarantees your aural pleasure. This is a little man with a big sound that you don’t want to miss.
Keep your ears peeled for upcoming release of his debut albums under the Isaac Chambers Project and his moniker, Million Buxx.
