Hi all, here’s a brief history of Flaxnation. After spending 20 years writing and playing more traditional styles of music, the past four years has been devoted to the exploration of electronic music. I started making downbeat and drum & bass but it was trance that really got me hooked, now all my energies are focused on the progressive side of trance.

Slowly building up my home studio here at Baylys Beach, and honing my production skills, its not hard to draw on the beautiful scenery that surrounds me as inspiration.

Flaxnation has also taking me to other parts of the country, playing live at festivals and parties such as Caanan Downs festival, Luminate, Alien Nation and other small underground gigs.

The music and the people i meet are my passion, i will be busy this winter for sure, writing new material and perfecting my live show for the summer of 2009/10.

Positive music for the people. Hope to see you on a dance floor soon!
